Happy Easter yall! Easter was a beautiful day for us in Idaho. We had dinner over at the Branch President's house and shared the video Because of Him...if ya haven't watched yet then ya should! es legitimo.
Jose Gonzalez bailed on church yesterday...and Elder Cooley and I have been following up with him every day...but he's progressing at a slower pace and we're not sure if he's going to be ready for April. He's still awesome and he's been listening to the BoM on CD (because he cant read). But yeah...we're still working with him.
So we had this guy named Edgar Carmona come to church today. Holy cow, talk about a miracle. Having Spanish people come to church is one of the biggest obstacles in this mission. We found him outside washing his car while we were just walking down some trailers. He recently had a divorce and he wants to be a better father for his son. We used How to Begin Teaching from Preach My Gospel and established expectations...that man has a heart of gold...and this really might be the branch's next baptism. I was so happy to find him because to be honest i was getting depressed with our finding efforts. The Spanish people are so far and between...so it was an answer to our prayers that he came to church and he's excited to learn more.
