So for a whole year now I have had this incredible craving for sushi. So, my companion and I planned out our month so that we could afford this super expensive sushi restaurant. Just to let y'all know, we got our super delicious sushi paid for us today. It was a miracle. OH MY GOSH IT WAS SO DELICIOUS.
Well this week was the baptism of Sidney Stone. It was so powerful and everyone was crying. Sidney is a trooper. She has cancer and it's terminal...but she is always joking around and smiling. After 3 or 4 years of investigating the church, she finally made the decision to be baptized. During the teaching process Elder May taught with us via skype. Elder May knew Sidney very well growing up...and so he got permission to teach with us. Elder May got to watch the baptism via skype as well =D
It finally hit me why I was sent here. Brother May (el padre de Elder May) went up and bore his testimony. He talked about how he never thought that he would see the day of Sidney being baptized. He then turned to us and said that he knew that we were the ones to teach Sidney the first time he met my companion & I. Wow. I was so touched by that comment. It was an honor to be a part of her teaching process.
Anyways...it was impossible to proselyte yesterday. With the Broncos playing...EVERYONE was glued to the television. yerp...apparently the Broncos got trashed.
And no way!! Keith Chapman is in the bishopric!! That is so rad! man i love that guy. he just always scared me at work lol, i hope there are still no hard feelings with the truck haha. yaaahhh...good times.
Well I'll see y'all next week.
